I want divorce but my wife have all the papers and lives far. Also abu

19-May-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I had married a girl 700km far(only registered marriage) out of Facebook love in 2017 but later found that she is cruel, abusive, having lots of affairs and liar. So, I decided not to do household with her and have a divorce. But problem is that she has all our certificates and I have nothing. She neither wants to divorce me, nor wants to live with me, nor wanting to give back my registry marriage certificate. Only abusing me over phone. She lives with her parents. I want to get divorce and marry other woman of parents' choice after divorce. What should I do now ? (PS : no child, hindu marriage, my age 27, girl age 21)

India  grants divorce to man whose wife refused to live with in-laws. India's supreme court has granted a divorce to a man on the grounds of “cruelty” after his wife  refused to share a home with her in-laws, effectively ruling that a married woman must live with her husband's family. So You can get divorce. For further information you have to contact with advocate .

you need to file a general diary first properly with facts properly framed then file a contested divorce to get relief it will take sometime but you will be able to divorce her finally and set yourself free moreover if you delay false cases might haunt you for rest of your life and create mental trauma for yourself

First of all, you have to apply for a certified copy of the marriage registration certificate. After getting the certified copy, file a suit for restitution of conjugal life. After getting decree, you may file a suit for dissolution of marriage. Briefly stated your allegations in your petition.
For more, you may contact with your lawyer.
