I want a divorce from my husband whom i have been married from 8 years

Im married from past 8 years and want a divorce.i have been cheated by my husband. I want the custody of my child.

Yes madam, you have option to apply for divorce petition before the family court. You can file Matrimonial case against your husband for divorce, there are two kinds of petitions for divorce, one is mutual consent divorce, another one is filing divorce petition and contest the matter. For mutual consent divorce, both parties must agreed. Another one, you have to file petition for divorce, later on your husband will appear before court and contest the matter.
