I don't want divorce. Husband has filed. I dint attend court hearings.

Husband says he will get one sided divorce if I have not attended hearings. Is it TRUE?

If any case has been filed against you in family court. And you are attained it through your legal representative or yourself then court will serve you notice again and even than you don’t present the case then court will order ex parte order against you and your favour of your husband. So always better to present yourself and give the defence whatever you want whether you want to get the divorce or not both is possible but you should present before the court and put your point of view .

if you have received the notice and if you are not attending the court the court will grant the divorce ex parte, it is required from your end to attend the court and file your objections to divorce petition so that you can defend your case, even today if no Divorce decree is passed you can attend and file your objections, so you are required to take immediate steps and see what has happened in the divorce case filed by your husband.

if notice from Court was Sent to you even it you rejected it for whatever reason, Case will continue in Court even in your absence and that you hastand says is true. This is called Case running ex parte.

Dear Madam, Yes, if you did not care to participate in the Divorce proceedings initiated by your husband if may get ex-parte divorce decree. Better engage advocate and get it sent to mediation centre and in the meanwhile file multiple cases against him and see that divorce never happened.
