dear client, you have not mentioned your religion but as per Hindu marriage act section 13 cruelty is the ground for the divorce, abusement defamation are the grounds for the divorce.Do you come to such a conclusion instead of marriage it is only cheating then you definitely issue notice
for judicial separation, As well as file a case of 498A against him, if you need further help don't hesitate for contact. If you like my opinion kindly rate me.

File an FIR / NC at the nearest police station recording the demands of money and violence . Post that you can decide what you want to do about this marriage and howto proceed accordingly for which better to consult an advocate.

Are you working ? What your spouse doing? Dont argue him orally, start creating evidence supporting your complaint, Register a NC with police station, what proof he has to prove that you are characterless and etc..? Start sharing your problem with closeone, if possible send him legal notice ask written explanation to your problem..

Don't wait a single minute and take strict action. Go to the nearest police station and launch police complain under section 498A. Tell police that you are married woman and you are been mentally harassed and is subjected to cruelty frequently.

it is very sad to hear that you have been beaten from the second day of the marriage.

you have two options - file police complaint against him for physical violence and cruelty or file complaint in court for domestic violence

and, you will also have to decide whether you want to continue in this marriage or not.

If you decide that you do not want to continue then you will have to file petition for divorce.

Hope this helps !
