Husband and his family harassing want to file for divorce

I want to apply for divorce due to problem btw me n husband. So my family as house arrested me.. And for every ten days they r changing my place. They keep always door locked n keep keys wit them. How to file a complaint n come out of the house. I want to stay in hostel with my daughter n my husband is threatening me tat he ll nt allow me to stay n hostel n he ll create a problem in front of hostel n he says that law ll my allow u to stay in hostel as husband is alive

you can call the police and lodge a complaint against the in laws and your husband. if you want to file for divorce you can do the same and will also be allowed to get alimony and maintenance for your child

Hi its a utter shock for me that you are facing such a harrasment but as i can see you have a mail access with you or you are carrying phone ,you just need to call 100 and lodge a complaint of harrasment and forcefully restraining you.

Look you can take appropriate proceeding before Police ,SDM,DCP for restraining you husband from being 3 km near you vicinity.For you child you have to approach family Court for custody.Then approach family court and court of Magistrate for maintainance if you are entitled.Finaly seek divorce.

Firstly you file a complaint to nearest police station for domestic violence and wrongful restrain which is punishable in indain penal code.you can also file the complaint in women cell for the same.
after you get protection from your husband and family you can go for divorce.

you can file for divorce on the ground of cruelty, complaint to Women Cell for cruelty, file a case for cruelty under DV act. All the three cases need to be filed simultaneously alongwith case for maintenance of yourself and your daughter.
