How to stop my divorce he is claiming me to be a Christian girl

Hi My husband had filed divorce in 2020 in tis Hazari court on the basis of me as Christian just because of my Anthony surname and his advocate and my lawyer also asking me to divorce my husband i have one child 3 years old and I am not prepared to divorce my husband. I have no parents. I am a Hindu girl but in order to get admission in Christian school my father added Anthony surname but we never convert into Christian caste.

Have you got your marriage registered and under which law. Secondly under which custom you got married ? and under which section has your husband filed divorce petition. Were your husband aware of your surname at the time of marriage bcz otherwise there would be no fraud on your part

You need to approach the court and write down all your issues regarding the surname and all in your Written Statement and if you wish to go legal and willing to stay with him then you can also file a petition under section 9 HMA for calling back your partner in your matrimonial life. they have to prove in the court with documents that you are Christian in the court. if they will fail than divorce will not be granted and in mean time you can maintenance cases agaist you husband and you can also file DV case against your husband and his family
