You cannot get in-laws property in alimony cases. You can have the right to ask alimony from your husband only. On the basis of his income and other assets you can claim alimony. If you need any further queries please contact me.

Dear Madam, Be aware that wife is not entitled for any share in the properties of in-laws. However, you can claim higher rate of alimony if your husband gets such share from his parents. You can file applications for interim maintenance and also for alimony under the specific provisions of Hindu Marriage Act and thus you may be awarded with such amounts if Court satisfied about the source of income of your husband.
