You can send them a legal notice regarding your issues and in that you can write that return our gifts or face legal action. And if you want to go legal then you can always file a written complaint against them to the PS of your area. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Hi, You can send them a legal notice for taking your gifts and money back. If they still don't do that then you can lodge a complaint in the nearest police station and file a suit for recovery against them.

Let's go through the details concerning the Roka expenses and Items bestowed to the family. If gifts are given by freewill the same is not an offence to accept them. Therefore, grounds under Sections of Criminal Law won't arise when the other party refuses to deliver the same back to you. Considering the gifts were presented on the pretext of marriage or under any coercion hi ting towards dowry, etc. The same shall be returned and you have the liberty to request the same back. I would urge you to file your grievances to the Police. Furthermore, stress on the ground that they behaved in an unethical manner and disrespectful full manner.
