How to agree my wife for divorce by mutual consent?

30-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I have been married for 15yrs and all these years I have been putting up with my wife. She's dominating, adamant, possessive and immature. I am in relationship with another girl and have decided to divorce my wife. She knows about my relationship but as she doesn't have her parents she doesn't want to leave me. Instead she keeps torturing me saying that if I don't listen to her she will go to lawyer and make sure I will be thrown out of my office, etc. There are so many small things in which she irritates for which I cannot get proof. Like she wants me to talk to her till 1am in night. This is affecting my sleep as I need to get up at 6.30 am to leave to office at 7.30 am due to distance. When I come tired in the evening she again argues with me saying if I meet my girl and come I will be filled with evil spirit and with that spirit I enter the house and fight with her. This goes on till 1am. I am really tired of this. I am ready to divorce by mutual consent. Please help.

We can file for divorce under cruelty because she knows you have girlfriend once you give divorce she knows you will marry her. First you give complaint in police station and later we can file for divorce .. Take videos of her when she scolds you and keep track of her messages wherein she uses vulger words on you ... Kindly contact me so that I can help you out

Since she is possessive, I think it is futile to think of she agreeing to leave you, and thus mutual consent seems to eb out of question. You haven`t told about your children. To file for a divorce you need to first make arrangement to stay away from her.

Sir,
As you have not disclosed your religion, I presume you are a Hindu. You have also not mentioned whether you have any children.
If you feel that your are constantly harassed, which is leading to mental cruelty, you can file divorce petition on the ground of cruelty.
As far as divorce by mutual consent is concerned, it is you who can make her agree for divorce by mutual consent. There is no other external ways to make her agree for divorce by mutual consent. You may also note that you are exposing yourself for a legal action for leading an adulterous life as your marriage has not yet been dissolved and you are in a relationship outside your marriage.

Here in connection with your facts of the case, and her behavioral attitude, i hope it cannot be the mutual consent. IF she consent its ok but your fact is clear that she is not intended to leave you,

You can file case under the head of cruality ( mental harassment) . But you should provide all the evidence in connection with plea to show that there is mental harassment

Please proceed/
