Hi
You can initiate a reconciliation and mediation procedure wherein both of you can attend the mediation and there in you can express your willingness to change yourself.
Even in a divorce procedure, all courts will mandate that the parties attend a reconciliation and mediation proceeding as it is the duty of family court to
a) first reconcile the parties and
b) grant divorce only in cases where reconciliation is not possible.
So in your case, you can pre-empt any initiation in divorce proceedings by volunteering for changing yourself and thereby get time lapse for divorce.

Yes you can get ample time..she can't get divorce at a stretch .after a divorce petition is field u will be summoned by the court and after you attend the court the judge will send both of you for councelling. There you can express your intention of leading marital life before the counselor. The counselor will not brush away your desire to live together..My wishes to you to lead a happy marital life..

Both have married to live together and lead the life. Not for divorce. Just think how much she suffered by your arrogant behavior. So give up your alcoholic habit and automatically she will accept you. If need further counselling contact me.
