How can a wife ask for divorce

Wife has already filed for maintenance and already 5 months have passed and she wants to file for divorce. But for that one year physical separation is required if it is so then this 5 months will be counted or not? Whether she will be granted divorce if she doesn't claim alimony?
Yes wife can ask for divorce on the ground of cruelty by husband & 1 year physical separation recuirement is not a compulsory she will not be granted divorce if she does not claim any alimony that is total matter of wish of both parties
