First of all I have to inform you that advocates can not convince husband to take divorce from wife until he himself wants divorce.

If there is a situation wherein husband want divorce whereas wife not or vice versa, law has provision for the same. In that circumstances too, court can grant divorce if you can prove grounds as mentioned in section 13(1) of Hindu Marriage Act. Such grounds are cruelty, desertion, mental illness of specific kind, etc.

Very principle is that if there is cancer it must be treated.

Divorce can only be obtain only on two ways. The first is on the ground of cruelty and the second is on the ground of mutual consent. If one party is not agree for divorce whether he is husband or she is wife then court can not grwnt divorce then only way to file divorce is on the ground of cruelty n desertion

Sir/Madam
If husband is able to prove any of the grounds for divorce given in Hindu Marriage Act then divorce can be granted even if wife is not willing to give divorce.
Advocates can convince those husband's to give divorce who are in dilema and that too depends upon the person to person.

There is no such law or authority that can make anyone enter in any boundation or decision forcefully,Therefore any divorce even if granted on basis of undue influence, coercion, fraud or misrepresentation of facts has no value in the eyes of the law. Therefore not possible that lawyers can force and push someone to take or file a divorce proceedings.
