you can sent notice on the next day of filing the complaint there is no time period . The notice court sent to the respondant for the appearance on the next date. if notice is not recieved or get back unserved then you can sent dasti notice via court by which the court sent notice via bailiff (police officials)

If it is daati than its almost 4 to5 days to issue... But if through regular प्रोसेस than रहे notice will be sent prior one month to the first date of the case... for more information about the same you can reach to me..

after the complaint is filed, the notice is issued once preliminary evidence is tendered by the complainant. usually the notice is issued on the day of tendering evidence itself. feel free to contact for further advice
