19-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Me and my husband got separated since November 31 2018 due to dowry problem. We spoke in front of our church priest where he and his mother spoke filthy of me and my parents. He was threatening money for his newly constructed home and chased me and my 2.5 old kid out on the day of house warming along with his parents. Ten days back he sent a legal notice stating that if am not returning to that home, he will dissolve a marriage. we both are Roman catholic and blood relatives. will i be in trouble if i am not replying to the legal notice? is it possible to dissolve marriage without my consent. My marriage is legally registered on Nov 2014. I married him in our church on Aug 2012. Pls give me legal advice.

Please do not worry that once he from marriages performed either legally Or illegally a marriage consummated is a marriage consummated. In the eye of law a marriage can happen in any means how are now lies well settled that marriage should be registered that's all. It doesn't mean that unregistered marriage is an illegal marriage. Your husband cannot dissolve the marriage on his phone as the court will give opportunity to you to represent your case and you will also given a counselling before the family court. However I advise you to give a proper reply legal notice for your husband is not is protecting your interest.
