Ex-parte divorce during COVID and remarriage

How can my brother proceed for ex-parte divorce when courts are closed. His divorce case is pending from Last 1.5 years. He has already sent two summons to his ex-wife but she doesn't respond and they are living seperately from last 2 years. After how many days can remarry after receiving divorce decree ? Some layer suggested he can re marry after 35 days ?

no never attempt a remarry before taking divorce decree. bcoz if you done this then your old wife make a FIR against you for bigamy. you can give more attention to your divorce case and you can appoint a special messenger for process of summon to your wife. after the getting ex parte.
