your husband is under the bounded duty to apear in the court, when the court has ordanied him to do so. In case ,if he shows his ability to be present on the day as his directed to him , or he is willfully absconding or redundantly not appearing in the court, that would tantamount to contempt of court for any queries contact to me

As you told that a divorce case was filed by your husband but he himself is not appearing in it, then in such a situation the court will quash or dismiss the case after giving him some opportunity because he will not be able to prosecute the case. It depends on him whether to run or not, so you can't do anything about itIn case of dowry harassment or domestic violence, you can directly go to the court and file a case. If the police is not registering your report, then you can file a case under section 1563 CrPC on the orders of the court. A report will be filed against the in-laws against the husbandIt will be done today and the case of domestic violence is not registered by the police, it is in the nature of a complaint, in which you can directly go to the court and file a family complaint
