Q: Chargesheet quashing in 482 and DP act

I had applied for sec 482 in chargesheet quashing against me in 498a, DP act. Police already removed family members name from chargesheet. Court had ordered for mediation but mediation failed in HC. in chargesheet police mentioned that my wife said that i asked for dowry. I have watsapp chat which shows that my wife agreed that i did not ask for dowry and no dowry was given. My lawyer says that this cannot be used in HC quashing and CS is generally not gets quashed in HC. Is this true??
