Divorce case mediation process
30-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Mediation process in my divorce case has failed. However, I want to come up with a compromise formula as a last ditch attempt to save my marriage. Can I request the court for one more mediation process so that the compromise formula can be presented to the opposite party.
courts have time and again referred parties to mediation in resolving matrimonial disputes and therefore yes you can asked for a second try by requesting the court explaining reasonable formula which you want to present. then it depends upon the court whether they agree or disagree, however you can always appeal against the decision if you aren't satisfied
it has to be seen or you better know that why you earlier not went for compromise if you were having your mediation at high court the mediation and the mediator take care to settle down the matter even if it's for the last option that is divorce or the one time settlement it's the discretion of the court or what pleading have you taken in your petition for further details do contact us.
