Divorce by Mutual Consent - Question on Settlement and existing cases

If we decide to file a petition for divorce by mutual consent
a) Does it mean, the existing cases that we have filed against the husband (for Maintenance, and Not giving some certificates etc) will have to be withdrawn
b) We have a verbal agreement on a settlement amount but the settlement will only happen after 5 months. So in such a scenario is a good idea to file a petition for mutual divorce now or should we wait till the actual settlement is made
u can file a joint petition for divorce before the family court. after u filed a petition 6 months waiting period of the case before that u can settlement of accounts of the both the parties any further clarification please contact me
