Divorce alimony related query after the divorce

Hi me and my wife decided for mutual divorce...but I just want to know how much money I should pay her after the divorce

According to the supreme court latest decision, if you want to pay monthly payments then you have to pay 25 percent of your monthly salary and if you want to pay lump-sum amount,it usually ranges 1/5th to 1/3rd of husband's total worth. For further clarification,feel free to reach me

You should decide mutually at the time of filing mutual divorce only and you should make payment at the time filing for it. Then you will not required to make payment after getting decree for divorce.

If you have already decided to get your marriage dissolved through Divorce by Mutual Consent then all the terms and conditions need to be decided by you and your wife. The court will not interfere in between. The amount of alimony would also be decided amongst the both of you. The alimony is generally paid in two instalments. One at the time of first motion and second instalment is paid at the time of second motion.
