Hello sir, Firstly, I'm unsure about the legal framework that applies to my case. I enrolled for an MBA at a university that also offers hostel facilities. The room I paid for, as advertised on the university website, includes a kitchen, lobby, balcony, and attached washroom. However, upon joining, I was informed that my allotted room was undergoing renovation, which would take 10-15 days. After waiting, I inquired again, only to be told it would take more time. Now, two months have passed, and I still haven't received my room. Currently, I'm living in a room without any of the promised facilities—no kitchen, lobby, balcony, or attached washroom. Despite paying more, I'm uncomfortable with the situation. Could you please suggest some options for addressing this issue, such as filing a complaint against the private hostels or addressing the hostel warden?

U can file a complaint either in consumer court or fr speedy response it will be better to file a compaint in permanant Lok Adalat of the dist.which is constituted in every dist.the presiding officer may pass an order to providd u the requred facility and to refund the charges taken from u.

Q: I want to recover money from my friend

1 year ago I gave 2 lakh rs to my friend by UPI Transfer on condition that he will return 2.5 lakh after 1 year. Now he is not returning my money after money request. He is not picking up my call. On whatsup he answered that he will give the money 2 ,3 days. But form last 3 months he is not given any money

in this scenario, you may file a police complaint to lodge an FIR against him and simultaneously, you may also file a recovery suit before the civil court. You will definitely get results in terms of your money

Q: Harrase by landlord to evict the premises

Landlord send notice to evict their premises. I'm staying their since 22 and paid rent regularly through bank transfer. While asking for rent receipt and pan card details. they started to harrass to evict the rooms, from sept 23. on the ground to increase rent with arrears from April 23, which I feel wrong. as he didn't serve any notice to increase the rent, Now on december 1 he service 1st time a notice evict it by 30 december on ground of increase rent + their parent will use this premises.

You need reply the said legal notice through an Advocate defending the demand of eviction of landlord. This is only the step you need to take at this stage. Also you may get temporary injunction from the civil court.

My wife along with my 5 year old son is residing separately since April 2021. She restricts my access to my son. She did not allow me to meet him for 14 months and now only lets me meet once in couple of months in a mall for few hours. She is a software engineer with a high income and lives alone with my son in Pune. I want my son to have full access to both parents. Currently he is alienated. Wife is neither willing to return nor willing to discuss mutual divorce. What are my legal options?

In this scenario you may file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights and you may also seek custody of your child. If you want to get seperated from your wife then you have a strong ground of desertion for getting a divorce decree

Q: Cheque bounce and fraud in name of crypto currency and job

Someone took 3 lakhs rs from my father and said he is investing in crypto in my fathers behalf and that our money would be doubled , also he took another 3 lakhs and promised a goverment job for my sister. He gave a 2.5 lakhs rs cheque as a proof to our payment.Now the cheque is bounced and after argument he returned some amount, 3 lakhs and 20 thousand rs are still with that person. He is refusing to pay. All the money transaction was online and we have proof also on gpay.What can we do now

What about the cheque of Rs. 2,50,000/- ? Is it still with you he has taken it back ? Also please let me know how did he made the payment of Rs. 3,20,000/-, was it a cash or online transaction ? Please answer so that we can guide you better.
