You can file for Divorce by giving your Special Power of Attorney to a friend, relative or advocate who can file the petition and sign the statement on your behalf and you can attend the proceedings through Video Call.

If the wife doesn’t appear before the court even after receiving summons from the court then the case can be proceeded ex-Parte. In such situations, the disposal of the case can take up to 2 years. It is to be noted that the wife can file an application for setting aside the ex-parte order

In case you want to file for a contested divorce then you will first have to analyse the grounds for divorce and then you will have to proceed with the filing. In case of mutual consent divorce, the time taken is 6 months and the process is much simple and smooth. If your wife is not staying in Gurgaon then you will have to ensure that you file the case in proper jurisdiction.
