Child maintenance and its laws

For an amicable divorce, is the father not liable to arrange or a house for the Mother and child to live in, apart from educational expenses ?
Else, where will the mother and child live ?
Also, is there any particular amount decided for child maintenance or is just educational expenses ?

For a mutual consent divorce it’s upto the separating spouses to set the terms and conditions of the divorce before the divorce petition is filed before the court.
All the maintenance, child’s education and place of stay & it’s expenses are part of the agreement. So, the court has limited role when the divorce petition is filed without any contest.
What and how you negotiate depends between you and your husband. Your lawyer may to some extend guide in this negotiations but mostly the discussions & deliberations are upto the parties.

The child and the mother, both can initiate their rights governed under section 125 Cr.P.C.
The maintenance amount granted by the Hon'ble Court is on the basis of overall monthly expense required by the Petitioner in accordance with income affidavit.
