Change of lawyer due to trust issues

25-Mar-2025 (In Divorce Law)
I approached a lawyer to file divorce case but the lawyer is delaying the process. Even after the initial payment the lawyer attitude and the way of response has changed. I have not signed any of the document formally. Can I change my lawyer now? Should I need to take NOC from the lawyer?

if you have not signed any papers then there he is no need for you to take any sort of NOC from him/her. you can just stop talking to that lawyer and just find someone else. but first inform that lawyer that you have changed your mind.

Dear Sir, Since you have not send any document and not filed any document before the Court so no NOC is required from your present Advocate. You may approach any other Advocate and see that your Divorce case is filed provided you have following minimum documents. Wedding Card, Marriage Photographs, Aadhar Card and Synopsis containing the cruelties committed by your wife in a chronological order.
