Cancelling marriage registration post divorce

Hello,
I got married in India and got it registered in Mysore. We got divorced in 2015 and that happened in USA. I have the divorce decree and it was mutual divorce . I am looking ot get remarried again and want to understand how i can go about cancelling my previous marriage so that when i get remarried, I can register . What is the formality and procedure?
you have to approach the registrar office were you have registered your marriage and provide the copy of the court decree alongwith application and authorities will put a note on your records and once you got divorce the question of cancelling not arises it's deemed to be dissolved , you can do it providing copy while registering 2nd marriage also.

Mutual Divorce happened in USA in legally enforceable and legal in India..You can go ahead for second marriage without any issue..There is no special procedure for getting second marraige..Please visit my office for more clarifications...

Once you have decree from court then you need not file for cancellation of marriage... You need to produce the certificate of the divorce decree at the time of registration of your marriage... As such there is no procedure to cancel the registration once decree of divorce is obtained..
