Can someone explain the exact time for divorce after filing

06-Apr-2023 (In Divorce Law)
We filed a divorce in October and we have our second date in the month of April. My lawyer say there will be 3 more hearing dates with a gap of 30-60 days and the process would complete by September. Is there anyway to obtain the divorce without any further due?nnThe court the in another state and I won't be able to travel there every month since I am a working. I had a talk with another lawyer and he claims he can finish the process with 20 days if I can take a leave from my office and provide the same in the court. Is it possible?

you'll and your wife haveto appear before the court during the stage of the second motion, where the court will ask you personally if you both are firm on your decision of taking divorce. without this process, the finalisation of your case is not possible.

I have seen your query carefully and found that you have filed a divorce petition on the basis of mutual consent under Section 13 B of Hindu Marriage Act. As per Hindu marriage act the period of process given 6 months to 18 months. But now Supreme Court has decided that if the parties are not willing to compromise and adamant to get divorce mutually then there is no further date is reqire. you can file a application before the concerned family court and pray for disposal of the case on date fixed on the basis of second motion of divorce petition. you can call me for further information and clarification.
