Can my sister n parents file defamation on mywife is spreading rumors

Hello Respected Legal advisors, Let me briefly explain my case. I married my wife n she hardly was in with me n my family for hardly 2months n she blamed me of ignoring her where as she didn't even let consulate the marriage.she left home. She sent notice of blame me being impotent n have relationship with a cousin brother. We replied negating alligations n asked her come back n I filed Restitution of conjugal righs. She demanded huge lump sum cash to settle,I denied n asked to come back,she raised 498A against me,my parents,my married sister,my close cousin brother as we torturing her we took bail n now want to fight case but she n her people r forcing to pay cash n settle n spreading rumors that am a impotent gay with almost all my relatives,nebours ,n at my workplace. My 70+ aged parents and married sister and my cousin brother dragged to this mess n rumors making everyone life hell.can my sister and my cousin file defamation suite on my wife it's only orally my wife n her people

Dear Sir, Such cases being filed without any basis and the only remedy available to you to approach Hon'ble High Court and seek stay of such proceedings and further seek quashing of such proceedings..Once such proceedings are quashed you are at liberty to file defamation cases against all the concern...You may also get issue a legal notice or file divorce case against your wife if you so desire...

yes they can file the complaint , approach jurisdiction police station. and defamation is cognizable offence if NCR filed by police you can approach directly magistrate also don't settle the matter if you not done any mistake , proceed with Contesting case.

you first get a certificate that you are capable of performing sex from a doctor and then taking all the documents and other oral evidence you can file a case for defamation, further your sister and cousin can also file if there are persons who can state before the court that it was told to them by your wife, mentioning when, at what time and where she told and how it has lowered the image in public and society.
