Can I seek help from police in private investigation

I have a doubt that my husband stayed with someone in a hotel but he is denying, so i want to confront him but the hotel staff is not disclosing anything, so can I ask the police to help me in getting the information from the hotel.

Hi u can make complaints of Adultry and bigamy to police and mention the details of the hotel stay u suspect then police will investigate the matter for you this is the only way the police can be involved in the matter but then you have to it’s consquences too
