Can I be restrained legally to travel outside country -divorce case ?

25-Feb-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I moved to US a year back and filed divorce petition a month back. I am planning to go to India for a short visit. Hearing for Divorce is yet to be done, but my wife has been issued notice. She is not ready to give divorce and her relatives have got good political contacts. They have aready started harrassing my parents and relatives. If I go to India for a short visit, can I be restrained from travelling back to US ? Are there ways in which they can file false case of DV or Dowry on me and make me stay in India ? For how long can they restrain my journey back ?

Dear Sir,
Since no case is pending against you which restrains you from moving onwards. You can easily come for a short stay and flew Abroad. Pendency of divorce case is not an issue. Normally Courts do not restrain the husband unless strong evidence is produced by the wife by filing DV case or 498A case.
