Issue with respect to Child Pornography content

Dear Sir/Ma’am, One of my friend was recently going through his Instagram account and he messaged a random person-“Hey”. The person to whom he was talking, demanded from him for a child pornographic content. Then my friend tried to ignore first and then later he told her that he had seen once a video but doesn’t have it with him now and so can’t share with her. Immediately that girl to whom my friend was talking told that she will now file a complaint and my friend will be shortly arrested for watching child porn. In actual sense, my friend has not watched any kind of child porn but he was just kidding with her. In the fear of getting arrested, my friend just deleted his Instagram account. He is more tensed now and he asked me what to do. So please let me know that what will happen with him now? Will he get arrested ? Regards,
