the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Indian Penal Code (IPC) provide provisions to address cyber harassment and stalking. Section 354D of the IPC deals with stalking, while Section 67 of the IT Act addresses publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form. Additionally, Section 507 of the IPC pertains to criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication. To file a complaint without disclosing your identity, you can approach the local police station or the cyber cell. you can also file an online complaint through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, It is essential to document all evidence, including screenshots of messages, call records, and any other relevant proof. you should also consider obtaining a restraining order from a court to prevent further contact from the ex-partner. Moreover, you can seek support from organizations like the National Commission for Women (NCW) or local women's rights groups.
