What I can do to prove his crime and make him punished for the crime.?

Hello,
I met with an accident from DTC bus, i was crossing my way and light was Green for me but DTC bus driver jumped the RED light and hit me it was a horrible accident and with the grace of god injury was not much bus driver run away, police has filed charges with section 279 and 337. is there any section for hit and run case?
How I can prove above crime? police denied to provide CCTV footage of incident, and driver trying to prove that he stopped and helped me and time was 6 AM morning in January and there were fog on the road but its not true? What i can do to prove his crime and make him punished for the crime?

The police has applied the appropriate sections under IPC based on the injuries you suffered in the accident. Unless an accident results in a very grievous injury it would have attracted section 338 IPC or in the case of death of the victim which would have attracted section 304(A) IPC.
You need to consult an advocate to apply for evidence to prove anything which the police has not covered.
