Want to send legal notice for defamation

A person from New Delhi, India has published a few articles based on imagery and fake information to defame one of our client's reputation. He also published our client's home address which is illegal. We have tracked that person and since our client is based in US he asked us to proceed. My question is what type of defamation case or legal notice we can send to that person and how can we get more information from that person like who asked him to post such defaming false news on the internet

We can send them a legal notice for defamation seeking damages as compensation for tarnishing your reputation. In addition we can file a criminal complaint against the accused for prosecuting him for commission if offence

First of all you need to serve him/her a legal notice and in that notice you can inquire about the same questions and direct him to immediately delete that post and apologize for the same. He will also be liable to compensate you. And if there is no positive response then you can always file a complaint before the court under your jurisdiction.

you can file both civil and Criminal defamation ,when the defematory statement is published or printed in any permanent form , in criminal defamation both compensation and punishment will be order of the court, firstly send him/her legal notice for compensation if they fail to compliance of legal notice ,the case will be filled

You can send a legal notice for violation of right of Privacy under Article 21 of Indian Constitution alongwith notice for defamation 499, 500 IPC , forgery 463 & 465 for making false document of your client to damage or injure his reputation and for stalking under 354 D moreover if your client is woman then 509IPC TOO

you can served them with the notice for defamation if they have defame you by publishing few articles based on imagert and fake information to defame one of your client. to ask who did this is a matter for trail
