Q: Stilt parking and ground floor terminology

I have a upper ground floor flat in a 4 storey building. The building has a basement, a stilt parking as well. In my sale deed they have written my floor as UG floor and parking at ground floor instead of stilt parking and the sanctioned plan also uses GF for my floor there is no mention of the word UG floor. Now can this create a problem that they used the terms interchangeably. The owner of first floor also has same word for parking at ground floor. How to rectify it? It is MCD sanctioned plan

We can file a representation before the appropriate body for seeking clarification on the same and if found anything wrong then we can file appropriate application for seeking rectification in the same

Q: Defamation Suit Along With Civil Property Suit

I am a guy and my fathers brother has filed some civil suits on me which I responded. But he is continuously giving false statements and filing law suits against me. So I am thinking to file a defamation suit on him for his false statements where I have all the proofs. Assuming my family annual income is 30 lakhs per annum. How much amount I can quote for the defamation suit.

Yes we can file a defamation suit against him but the quantification of the same depends on the loss incurred due to such false statements and the loss can be quantified basis on the income derived by you alone

Q: Meter tempering suspected case

Hello. Actually i wanted advice related to an electricity meter tempering case In January our meter was changed because the previous meter had some faults in it. But the officials who came to change the meter said that the old meter is tempered. I don't know why they were accusing us for that Then few days ago After these 3-4 months Few people came and recorded everything in our house, every electronic appliances we use.And today we received an inspection report with a cd saying m.t suspect

We should immediately file a representation and RTI before the concerned department for seeking the deployment of meter at your house and its validity and thereafter accordingly we can proceed ahead by filing a case before appropriate court of law

Q: Code Of Civil Procedure 1908 Money Recovery Suit Against Me Defended

Court sent summons to me via police , police calls me to station name on summons mismatched but police insist it's me, after arguments police gets me write my name phone number & date on a piece of paper & also gives a copy of court which is addressed to sp to serve summons & also don't provide complaint copy to me, court is out of my state, what to do

You should write a message to the police indicating them about such an incident which they did with you and politely request for the copy of the complaint initiated against you. The same is your legal right

Q: MONEY GIVEN TO COLLEAGUE NOT RETURNED

ALMOST A YEAR BACK, I HAD GIVEN SOME MONEY TO A COLLEAGUE FOR GETTING A GST APPEAL FILED ON BEHALF OF A CLIENT OF MINE. THE AMOUNT WAS 5 LAC RUPEES AND HE HAS SINCE THEN DISAPPEARED AND STOPPED RESPONDING TO MY CALLS AND MESSAGES TOO. I HAVE A CHAT HISTORY AND FOLLOW UP HISTORY WHERE HE HAS PROMISED TO RETURN THE MONEY BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN RETURNED YET.

In this scenario, we can send a legal notice to him for seeking recovery of the amount with interest due to non-fulfilment of work by the person. If he fails to return the money, we can file a civil suit for recovery before appropriate court of law having the jurisdiction to entertain such suit
