Suicide Threat given by wife to me

My wife filed 498a , DV and 125 on me. She is demanding 25 lakhs for settlement. I have asked her to stay with me as I cannot give this amout if money. She mentioned to me u are harrasing me and I WILL COMMIT SUICIDE. I have already written email to SP office in lucknow. I want to know what more i can do in this.

your wife is threatening you to commit suicide in that respect you submitted an application kindly tell me the status of your wife's FIR and other case so I can advise you more you should have to take necessary steps to safe yourself

this is common practice to threaten the husband. You can write to police about it also can send letter by post In the end you can also File a informatory petition in court as well regarding this as well. Then police will be bound to take appropriate action. Further for more information you can contact us as well.

your wife has filed a case of domestic violence and maintenance you can file a counter case of cruelty or perjury . if she is threatening to commit suicide you ensure that there is no step from you committing abutment to suicide

You did a great job by sending a letter to SP on the said matter. However, in addition to it, you can-1) Approach the local police station and write about the same or send them through the registered post. 2) Secure and keep all the relevant chats/texts and call recording done between your wife and u showing her demanding money and blackmailing too. 3) You can seek redresaal through mediation as it is binding if your wife too gives consent. Rest you need to defend you already instituted case in careful manner. best luck. You can connect with me also.
