Regarding Taking Back The Case Or About Fir Cancellation

13-May-2023 (In Criminal Law)
My phone was snatched at sonipat railway station to which i lodged an FIR there. The phone was tracked and the accused was produced before court. I have also gone there one time for my testimony and to identify the phone but the police official did not bring the phone on that date in court. So the judge give me another hearing date for the same. But now I want to take my case back because I live in different district (Faridabad). It becomes difficult for me to commute there on every hearing. So kindly instruct me how to take my case back or Is there any provision sothat I can cancel my FIR

Hello Sir, In case you wish to cancel the FIR, please approach the High court for the state as it can be quashed/cancelled from there. You can state reasons for the quashing/cancellation and in few dates it will be cancelled. Please call for further clarification Thanks Adv Dr Preeti

You are complainant not accused. No need to go there on each and every date. Take your mobile on superdari after giving a surity. The government counsel will contest the case on your behalf. You can hire a private advocate as well

Dear Client, So sorry for your loss but thats how judicial system works. Mobile snatching is a serious crime in Haryana and directions has been passed by higher officials to take it seriously and swiftly. You have many options to opt for. The most relevant & legal way is to go for Transfer Petition in HC for shifting the matter to Faridabad District Court. For further details you can contact us telephonically or you can visit our office.
