Re claiming the stolen vehicle back from delhi police

i would like to know what the procedure is to get back the stolen vehicle, which was stolen about a week ago and found by Delhi Police after a week. what documents will i need, the time they will take to release it and do i have to get it released from the court or police station?

As show your good gesture, procedure is that to get back the stolen vehicle, you may file apllication u/s 144 of d.p. act before executive magistrate..and need documents as registration certificate, D.L. and Id and address prrof.

You can get the vehile from the court only if you have filed a police complaint for theft and you have to file a proper application for release of stolen vehicle and you should carry the original rc along with th owner for further details you can call me

You have to get you vehicle released from court by showing you title documents.You won't be able to sale the vehicle without permission of the court.You ownership documents would be stamped by court.You have to bring the vehicle to court at the time of evedince

You will have to get it released from the court on superdari.

Superdarinama shall be required to be furnished.

Move a superdari petition in the court referring to FIR No.....

Procedure is simple. Registered/possessory owner of the vehicle has to file an application to the court of concerned Metropolitan Magistrate annexed with copy of RC and identity card. Court will call a report from the police and then release the vehicle.
