Provisional Committee member threatening another committee member

31-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I am a member of the provisional committee of a Building which is under the process of Society registration. There were difference of opinions on a whatsapp message that I posted without targeting any specific person. The message that I posted was "I have a strong objection on person taking decisions without discussions". One of the committee member (acting as a chairman) took it personal and yesterday afternoon threatened and intimidated me. He also used swear words like "MotherF*ker" and "Don't teach me how to F*k". This was verbal and I don't have any proof as a video and audio. How do I go about it? I'm located at Thane, Maharashtra.

Dear Client,

It better to ignore and move on. You have got right to express your views, and you keep doing so, without uaing foul language. If the opposite person still uses same language you can raise the point before the comittee to remove him.

You can also initiate defamation proceedings against him. Amicably other members can pass resolution for removal of that persob from post of Chairman.
Legal options- send legal notice through advocate- file case before court/CHS Registrar.
