Possibility of any legal action for complaint filed one year back

My friend told me that some girl of my colony filed a complain about me and him that we both torture her its 1 years ago. They also took him to local police station and got bailed by his uncle.iwas out of delhi but no one called me no notice till now. Is it possible that no action more then 1 years? Do i worried for it?
Yes you should be worried if there is allegations against you... First of all you should engage a criminal lawyer and narrate him whole incident if anything is there to tell.. time limitation is very flexible in criminal matters... may be police is assuming that you are absconding, there is also possibility of arrest.
