Need to file a petetion against Fir filed buy other party

Rohan here. An FIR against my father-in-law and me, filed by our neighbor, came as a surprise. The allegations in the FIR are false. We learned of it when we got a summons from the complainant and the police, six months later. Can we now file a petition through a lawyer against this FIR? If so, what's the process to initiate this legal action?

hi first need to see the contents of the FIR and the allegations mentioned in it and if they are entirely false then you could file quash petition to quash the FIR as it is based on all false allegations and whethet chargesheet had been filed ot not

if it is false allegations we can file a petition in high court and cancel your fir , Here in high court we can dispose your case and cancel your FIR, approach to any advocate he will help you in disposing and cancelling your fir
