I have been in a relationship with a girl(older than me) for two years now,we had sex for only one time, intially i thought of marrying her, but considering my present situation and state of my relationship i wanted to drop the plans of marriage and said the same to her, now she started blackmailing me with suicide threats and saying will tell my parents and come to my house and threating to remove my brother's job using influence.currently i am staying in usa while she is in India.what can i do legally, pls help

You can always file a complaint in writing to the police station of the area where that girl lives regarding your grievances and addressing them all the true facts and also about the blackmailing she is doing to you. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

these things nowadays are common to the court where we all see nowadays people are trying to extort money from this method and delhi courts are very strict for this, so no need to worry for this you have to file a criminal complaint for the same.

if the relationship was consensual then you can get relief and this physical relationship must be a past event as you mentioned above. You can get relief and all you have to do is record her statements or threats you mentioned about. If chat is possible then make her confess that she will do all wrong against you if don't agree with her forceful/illegal demands and conditions.
