Yes, you can file a criminal complaint against your ex-boyfriend. Aapki marzi ke khilaf relationship mein rehne ka pressure banana, mana karne ke bawajood alag-alag numbers se repeatedly call karna aur personal photographs family ko dikhane ki dhamki dena, BNS Section 78 (Stalking) aur Section 351 (Criminal Intimidation) ke antargat offences ban sakte hain. Stalking mein pehli conviction par 3 saal tak aur subsequent conviction par 5 saal tak imprisonment ho sakti hai. Criminal intimidation mein ordinarily 2 saal tak, aur specified serious threats mein 7 saal tak punishment ka provision hai. Aapki call recordings, WhatsApp messages, screenshots aur call logs important evidence hain. Inhe safely preserve karein. Aap Women Police Station ya concerned SHO ko written complaint de sakti hain. As an Advocate, I can assist you in preparing a legally strong criminal complaint and initiating appropriate legal proceedings. Exact charges and punishment depend on the evidence and circumstances of your case.

Your ex-boyfriend's conduct may attract Sections 78 (stalking), 351 (criminal intimidation), 77 (voyeurism), 75 (sexual harassment) and 79 (insulting a woman's modesty) of BNS, 2023. Punishment ranges from 1 to 7 years, depending on the offence. Sections 66E, 67 and 67A of the IT Act may also apply to unauthorised dissemination of private, obscene or sexually explicit images, carrying imprisonment up to 3–7 years and fines. Preserve all digital evidence and lodge an FIR with the police or Cyber Crime Cell.
