Has Anyone Fought and Won Against an Airline for Baggage Theft?

Has anyone personally filed a successful consumer case or legal complaint against an airline for loss or theft from baggage? I would appreciate connecting for guidance. Please DM me or comment — thank you!

You first file a written complaint with the airline first. If your problem is unresolved, immediately file a Consumer Complaint for deficiency in service and claim compensation. You can also have the right to file an FIR if you suspected the theft. Better to keep all travel and baggage documents as proof . The Courts have granted compensation for negligence and mental agony in such cases. The passengers have the right to file both consumer complaints and FIRs against airlines for baggage loss or theft.

Yes, we filed consumer case and won against middle East Airlines, as per international convention ratified by Indian government you have good chance of getting compensation, subject to proof of ownership and bills of the goods lost
