Yes. He can escape from the imprisonment. First make an agreement with the victim and then file a case for quashing before the Delhi High Court. It's always better to enter into the agreement in the presence of your lawyer.

if he want to escape, and is not willing to pay any kind money in that case inform the court and request to court for attachment of his property. If he is guilty and it proved than can not escape from the court order.
