False sexual harassment case filed by me what should I do now

Due to some official arguments, i filled a wrong sexual harassment complaint against one of my friend who is like my brother. he was on police custody for one day, because i have not shown any evidence to the Investigation officer while register a FIR.he got a bail next day from court. Now he approach to the high court for quashing of the FIR and he don't want to compromise with me. is it required for me to hire a lawyer for this case, because i don't want to hire a lawyer and i don't want to visit high court. what would happen if i am abscond? Because the guy is not ready to compromise with me...and he has changed his house and mobile number as well and i don't have any contact information about this guy Recently I got information from some person that he is planing for counter case as well as Defamation case on me I am very scared now..... what to do now and what is out come of this case?

You should keep a watch on the case that he has filed in the High court as well as the cases pertaining to defamation etc that he is going to file against you. As the complaint filed by you was wrong, you shouldn't be ignorant of the issue now. How can you abscond and remain safe? Instead of that try and compromise and set the issue at rest otherwise you should contest the matter.

Ma'am you should engage a Counsel at High Court and you need not be scared and must not think about absconding etc. He will achieve nothing by pursing a complaint or defamation case. And you are afraid only for the reason that a case is pending before High Court but it's a routine matter.
