False Allegations by my ex girlfriend’s family

My ex girlfriend’s husband and family had filed a case against me stating that I have sent a friend request to her husband on Facebook. I’m not sure what to do next

Simply sending a friend request is not an offence. What are the other averments on the complaint? have you got a copy of it? Where have they filed complaint against you, police station or directly to a magistrate?

Sending a friend request to your Ex's Husband is not a crime. However, saying wrong things about your Ex to her Husbsnd, which you will not be able to prove in Court, can put you in legal trouble, if she decides to file a case against you for spoiling her marriage.
