Do I have go to court for bail if bailable arrest warrant is issued

24-Dec-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I used to be the vice principal of a private school around 2 years ago. There were several students who had not paid their fee past the due date despite several oral and written reminders to them and to their guardians. So one day after morning assembly the defaulting students were made to stay back in a shaded place (basketball court) for 4 hours. They were allowed to go for bathroom and drink water and were released at lunch time. One of the students was there by mistake, as his fee had been paid but due to a clerical error his name had also come up in the defaulters list. Later his guardians came to office and myself andd principal apologised profusely to them but the guardians went ahead and filed a criminal case against us. Now a bailable arrest warrant has come out against me and principal. Do i need to go to court and secure a bail? The kid was not abused verbally or physically, not even hit or slapped. And we later admitted our mistake and apologised for it also. Pls advise.

If there is a bailable warrant against you that means his parents filed a complaint against you and after pre summoning evidence judge has issued summons against you but you failed to appear and therefore he issued warrants

Well we have to see whether such form of punishment since it stands admitted on your part forms a basis of a crime or not. and we can contest the matter before the respective court and make out our defence against the same.

You must appear before court and apply for bail otherwise police will arrest you. You all must appear and I am sure that bail shall be granted to you all. You must prove your defence before court otherwise court may pass order against you.
