Defamation case against someone who is living in canada but hold india

How do I go about filling a defamation case against someone who is an indian citizen but lives in Canada right now. Legal notices have been sent but doesnt give a heed to it. Hence, looking for the right procedure to take action against the person

hello client as you have said you wish to file defamatiom case against a person who lives in canada but of indian citizenship it is possible to file a defamation suit in indian court while persom lives abroad but for tht you need to discuss the issue with us for the reason to do so then only we can help you.

If your legal notice has reached that person and you have got the proof of the same then you can always file a defamation case against that person and if the act was done in India then you can also file a written complaint to the police station of your area and choose your jurisdiction. In this case I request you to lodge a fire against the culprit as per information and technology act and declared him proclaimed offender and also asked the investigating officer to ask the ministry to issue lookout circular against and you may contact our office for more details thank you

If you have hired an advocate for this case and have got legal notice issued then why do u have to post the question here ! Don’t you trust your advocate ! He is the right person to guide you ..else u will get more confused…

first of all you need to tell me the fact that where did the cause of action arose. if it was in India you can sue him within the jurisdiction of that Hon'ble court. You can contact me with further information and questions
