Criminal Case under Section 323 324-Mayo Hall Bangalore

11-Oct-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I was wrongly accused of assault under 323 324. Case is under trial in Mayo hall since 2015 and has protracted over years due to absence of the complainants. The complainants have been cross examined. I am still to be cross examined. I have Canadian visa for one year and intend to take courses there. But cannot travel with pending charges. Is there a way i can request the court to give me short dates/expedited dates officially as my lawyers seems a bit lax with the case. Can i ask the court through an affidavit or verbally during my date. What are the official ways to do it.

Yes file criminal petition before the high court or Writ and pray for quashing the proceeding or dispose as early or get transferred to any other court for speedy trial, or you can request trial court also to dispose off the matter early by taking shorter dates or you can seek permanent exemption for appearance on this ground but you have to appear in important stages , discuss with your lawyer

yes your lawyer can request the court and ask for earlier dates, and the case can be over soon, further you can attend the court for cross and request the court stating the above reasons and the court and keep the dates early on finish the entire case within 2 months or within few days.
