I am living separately from husband with my 3 month old baby boy due to domestic violence issue , going to file child maintainance case. Can I buy a house during the case as wasting lot of money on rent

I have seen your query carefully and minutely. you should file a petitions for maintenance and domestic violence against your husband. you can also made parties to all the necessary inlaws in petition for domestic violence. yes you can purchase a house during the pendency of the proceeding. it is better to discuss your problems with me on phone so you will get more clarity.

Hello... Have you filed any case against your husband till date for Domestic Violence?? Whether you have applied for divorce?? And your child can get maintenance from his father but please tell the exact fact of your case so that i can guide you properly... And if any case is going on...then it might be a ground for your husband for denying maintenance to your child or you...but nothing more than that... For more information you can call/ text me... if you buy the house on your own name and your husband know about it and he opposed in the court that how you earn money to buy the house. for the child maintenance you have to hide all the financial informations from your husband

It is not safe to purchase house during pendencyof case because maintenance is awarded wife and child only when she is unable to maintain herself and her child . result of case may go against you, hence you are advised not to purchase house during pendency of case.
